The Secretary’s report for November
was accepted as amended to show in New Business # 2 that
CO2 should be carbon monoxide.
The Treasurer ’s report indicated
a negative balance. This is a usual occurrence at the end
of the year.
The Financial Secretary’s report for
November was tabled, however, money was turned in from
renewals and new memberships, with 14 new members to be
submitted to the Board for acceptance. A motion was made
and carried to file for future audit.
BILLS:
- Oil Burner service done by Dave L - parts $210.42, labor
$125.00.
- Equipment garage repairs – parts $635.00, labor
$415.00.
- Cleaning supplies - $41.62.
- Bob’s expenses - $55.62.
- Pine Strapping - $48.00, Mower parts - $48.00, Backhoe
rivet punch - $44.38.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Claybird – Turned in money. The Winter League has
started consisting of four teams with four shooters on each
team.
Rifle – The new material for backstop trial, which
is a type of corrugated plastic works well.
Building & Grounds – All the body rot areas on
the buildings is being cleaned and wood replaced. There is
an exhaust smell in the indoor range. The backhoe starter
is not functioning.
OLD BUSINESS:
- The Nominating Committee is prepared to make nominations
for officers and directors at the annual meeting.
- Dave L cleaned the front house boiler.
- Ted O reported on the new orientation check list signature
process including the review of range rules, release of
indemnity agreement signature form and page of common sense
rules use by club that are being provided for orientation
use.
- Dave L will apply for the Ammunition License from the
NAPD.
- The cost of plowing the snow this winter has gone up
to $125.00 for each plowing, with an agreement to plow
when the snowfall is 4” or more.
- The land sale with John DesVergns is still pending.
- Tarps will be put on the rifle range roof to slow down
the water damage.
NEW BUSINESS:
- The following 14 people applied for membership, David
R. Z, Olver N, Brian A. J, David C, Tom V, Mathew V, Dennis
W. O, Michael P, Tara B, Mark S, Joao S, Charles Y, Greg
D. H, and Deborah L. H. A motion was made and carried to
accept the new members as read.
- Dave L will look at the range furnace and the backhoe
started.
- The Dec. 9th. Annual meeting needs to have twenty-five
members present for the elections.
NEW BUSINESS Con’t :
- There will be a rifle silhouette shoot Sunday Dec. 20th.
- The kitchen needs to be kept clean.
- Ted O’s classes will be held January 19,21 and
22.
- Dave L submitted his expense report.
