Angle Tree Rod and Gun Club
Summer Skeet League for 2023
Every Other Wednesday Night
The
Wednesday Night
Summer Skeet League 2023 will be starting on
Wednesday, May 10th.
We will be shooting 50 skeet targets
each 2nd
& 4th Wednesday of each month from May to
August. The League will go for 8
weeks with 1 week at the end for make-up
rounds, if needed. All
shoots must be shot or made up
to complete the league. The cost is $
12 of which $ 6 pays for targets
and $ 6 will go towards prize money. We will
be using a Lewis Class system for
scores and prizes.
Dates:
May 10th, May 24th,
June 14th, June 28th,
July 12th, July 26th,
August 9th, August 23rd.
THE
LEWIS CLASS
SYSTEM is based on the
final scores as they
are posted when the shoot has been completed
and gives every contestant an
equal chance to win, no matter what his/her
shooting ability. When all the
shooting has been completed, the scores are
listed in numerical order from the
highest to the lowest. They are then divided
into as many groups as there are
classes. For example, if there were 18 entries
and 6 classes, there would be 3
scores in each class. The highest score in
each class would then be the 1st
place winner. The next highest score in that
class would be 2nd
place. The next highest score in that class
would be 3rdplace.
Everyone wins no
matter of his/her
ability.
The
Summer Skeet
League will start at 6 PM or just before 6
every other Wednesday and continue
for 8 weeks.
If shooters cannot attend a
Wednesday night shoot, he/she may make-up
missed targets on any Wednesday night
before or after the date missed with 1 week at
the end for make-up rounds, if
needed. The
fields are open before the
league shoots for practice & make-up.
There is a sign-up sheet in the club house
or email me and I will sign you up.
If
you have any
questions email

The
skeet fields are also
